Description
The iPad 8 (2020) flex cable is a thin, flexible circuit that links your device's motherboard to several components, such as the button, sensors or connectors. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static wrist strap if possible, and keep the small screws in a set order. Flex cables are fragile: lift the connectors gently, without forcing or bending the flexible film.
Once reassembly is complete, check each affected function before fully closing the casing. Run a few functional tests and watch the device's temperature during the first use. If abnormal behaviour persists, recheck the connectors before concluding.
