Description
The iPhone 13 flex cable is a flexible plastic film cable that connects your device's motherboard to the components in its lower section. Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery where the design allows it. Work on a clean surface and use anti-static tools to avoid electrostatic discharge to the components. Handle the flex cable by its edges, without bending it or pulling on the connectors, and take the time to align the contacts properly.
After fitting, check that the flex cable is properly seated and the connectors are locked before refitting the cover. Switch the device back on and test the affected functions. If the device has a lithium battery, do not puncture it, do not bend it and never use a swollen battery.
