Description
The NFC flex cable Galaxy Note 20 is a small flexible circuit that carries your phone's NFC antenna. It is used for contactless payments, card reading and quick pairing with compatible accessories. When this cable is damaged or disconnected, these functions may stop responding, while the rest of the device works normally.
Before replacing it, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before touching any flex cables. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static wrist strap or by regularly touching a metal ground to avoid discharges. Handle the cable by its edges, without bending it or pulling on the cable, and use a plastic tool for the connectors.
Once the assembly is complete, check that all connectors are properly seated before refitting the cover. Switch the device back on, test reading a card or a contactless payment, then check the rest of the phone. If NFC remains inactive, redo the assembly to verify the connections.
