Description
The Nintendo Switch flex cable is a flexible film cable that connects the device's motherboard to an internal component. It carries signals and power between these two parts. A faulty flex cable can cause hard-to-diagnose problems, such as an area of the screen that no longer responds, a button that does not react, or a part of the device that switches off intermittently. This compatible premium part is made by a high-end third-party manufacturer and looks very close to the original part.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean, clear surface with suitable tools so you do not bend or scratch the film. Keep the screws in a small container, noting where each one goes, as they are not all identical. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Once the flex cable is fitted, reconnect the battery and check that each related function works. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture it. Do not bend the flex cable and avoid excessive heat during assembly.
