Description
The power flex cable Q6 (2017) is a spare part that connects the device's power button to the motherboard. It transmits the signal when you press the on/off button. It is referenced under number M700 and is offered in a compatible version, made by a third party.
This part fixes the typical power button faults: a button that no longer responds, a device that only turns on after several presses, or unexpected restarts. Before you start, switch the device off completely, unplug the charger and, if possible, the battery. Work on a clean surface and use an anti-static tool to avoid discharging the components.
After fitting, test the button several times before closing the device completely. Switch it back on, test the neighbouring buttons and make sure the flex cable does not rub against any other part. Handle the connectors gently and never force a cable.
