Description
This power flex cable connects the on/off button and the volume buttons to the motherboard of the Q7 Plus (2018) device. It transmits the physical button commands to the system, allowing you to switch the device on or off and adjust the sound without difficulty. When it is faulty, the button often stops responding, the device fails to start or the volume no longer changes. Replacing this cable restores these controls without changing the entire board.
Before you begin, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before handling any flex cables. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and keep the small screws in a precise order. Handle the cable by its edges, without bending it or forcing the connectors, as these parts are fragile.
Once fitting is complete, check that each button works correctly before closing the casing fully. If the device has a lithium battery, do not puncture or bend it, and stop using any swollen battery. For a compatible part, a careful test confirms that everything works properly.
