The power / volume flex cable OnePlus 3 is a small flexible circuit that carries the device's side buttons: the power on/off button and the volume buttons. It transmits to the main circuit the presses you make on these buttons. When they stop responding, stay stuck, or the screen no longer lights up when pressed, this part is often the cause.

Before fitting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, dry surface. Touch a metal ground before handling the flex cable to avoid static discharges.
