Description
This headphone jack flex cable iPad 5 (2017) is a compatible spare part that connects the headphone jack connector to the motherboard of your device. Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, use a plastic tool to lift the connectors, and avoid static electricity by earthing yourself. The flex cables are thin: handle them with care and do not bend them.
After fitting, reconnect the power and test the sound with headphones, then move the jack to check the contact. If the problem persists, check the orientation of the connector and the tightness of the screws before drawing any conclusion.
