Description
This jack audio flex cable is compatible with the Optimus G model. It connects the headphone jack connector to the device's motherboard. When it is faulty, the phone may no longer detect a wired headset, play sound only through the speaker, or produce crackling and dropouts during listening. This part is a compatible flex cable made by a third party, and its reference is not indicated here.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools so you do not damage the connectors or the fixing clips. Do not bend the flex cable and never force the tabs. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture it.
After fitting, reconnect the battery, then check the jack socket with a wired headset: sound should come out normally in both earpieces and the microphone should be detected. Also check that the chassis closes properly and that there is no play. If the problem persists, it may come from another component on the board.

- A swollen battery must never be used or punctured
