Description
The jack audio flex cable Risio 4 is a compatible replacement part for repairing the headphone jack of your device. It connects the jack to the motherboard and carries the sound to the headphones or external speaker. When it is worn or damaged, you often notice no sound in the headphones, sound that cuts out when you move the cable, or the headset being wrongly detected.
Before you begin, switch off the device and disconnect the battery to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean, anti-static surface with suitable tools, and heat the solder joint gently and with care. Check the part before fitting and avoid bending the fine connectors of the flex cable.
Once fitting is complete, reconnect the battery and test the jack with several types of headphones, gently turning the plug. If the battery was disconnected, a few full charge cycles can help stabilise the system. If you are unsure about a step, stop and check your references before continuing.
