Description
The jack flex cable Galaxy Tab 8.9" (2011) (ref. P7300) is a small flexible board that connects the wired earphone jack to the device's motherboard. It detects a headphone plug and routes the sound to the earphones or the appropriate speaker.
This part is used to fix common faults: no sound in the earphones while the speaker works, sound that cuts out or crackles when the cable is moved, or a device that does not detect the plug. It is a compatible part made by a third party, offered for a low-cost repair. It replaces the current part and does not necessarily reproduce its function identically.
Before fitting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, limiting static electricity. Handle the flex cables by the edges, without bending them. After installation, check the sound on both channels, the plug detection and the hold of the cable before closing the device.
