Description
This headphone jack flex cable for V20 (ref. H910) connects the headphone socket to the device's motherboard. It carries the audio signal and detects when headphones or a hands-free kit are plugged in. When it is faulty, you often notice sound coming from only one side, crackling, or a headphone socket that no longer detects anything while the speaker works normally.
This part is a compatible version made by a third party. It does not necessarily reproduce the characteristics of the current part. Before you start, switch the device off, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, avoiding static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap. Take care with thin flex cables: do not bend them and never force the connectors.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the headphone socket with several earphones, then check both audio channels and the microphone. If the battery was disconnected, let the device charge normally and carry out a few full charge cycles before heavy use.
