Description
The headphone jack flex cable Xperia Z5 (ref. E6653) is a small flexible board that connects the headphone socket of your device to the motherboard. It carries the audio to wired earphones and also detects when a jack is inserted, which lets the device switch off the speaker when headphones are plugged in.

Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible. Note the position of the screws and connectors.
