Description
This stylus flex cable is a compatible spare part for the Galaxy Tab S3 9.7" (2017) model. It receives the stylus signal and transmits the pressure and position data to the motherboard. When it is damaged, the stylus may stop responding, lose accuracy or stop working altogether. This part is a compatible cable made by a third-party manufacturer: it allows an economical repair, without claiming to be identical to the current part.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before touching the cables, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and an earthing strap to limit static electricity. Use a gentle touch so you do not bend or tear the fine connectors.
Once fitting is complete, reconnect the battery, then check the stylus in several areas of the screen. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture it. Moderate heat is enough when lifting glued components.
