Description
This tool is a test flex cable designed to check an iPhone 6S Plus during a repair. It connects in place of the main flex cable to test the operation of certain components before or after replacing a part. It helps you find out whether the fault comes from the current part or from another element of the device.
This flex cable is a compatible part, made by a third party. It is offered for do-it-yourself repairs. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit electrostatic discharges.
After fitting, check the tested functions one by one before closing the device. Do not bend the connectors, do not force their latches and check that each cable is properly seated. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and handle it with care.
