Description
This flexible ribbon cable carries the volume buttons and the power on/off button of your Galaxy Note 10. It connects these controls to the motherboard: it is what transmits your button presses to the system. When it is worn, bent or poorly connected, the buttons may stop responding, respond with a delay or stay stuck.
This is a compatible part, made by a third-party manufacturer. It lets you replace the current part at a low cost. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it and work on a clean surface. Handle the cable by its edges, protect it from static electricity and avoid excessive heat during removal.
After refitting, check each button one by one before closing the casing completely. If a button still has no effect, reseat the connector and check that it clicks firmly into place. Do not bend the cable and never force it into its housing. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
