Description
The volume flex cable Q6 (2017) is a small flexible circuit that connects the volume buttons to the device's motherboard. It passes on to the system the commands you send by pressing the + or − button on the side. When it is worn, cracked or poorly connected, the buttons stop responding, react irregularly or stay stuck.
This part is a compatible flex cable, made by a third party. It is suitable for replacing the current part of the Q6 (2017) model, without changing other functions of the device. Before you begin, switch the phone off completely, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it and work on a clean, dry surface. Avoid static electric shock by touching a metal ground before handling the part.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test each button several times, turning the volume up then down. Also check that the lock button and the other nearby functions work correctly. If the cable stays badly positioned, start the fitting again calmly rather than forcing the connector.

- Do not bend the flex cable and do not press on the flexible cable
- Test each button several times after fitting
- Avoid excessive heat during the replacement
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
