Description
The volume flex cable V20 (Ref. H910) is a small flexible circuit that connects the volume buttons to the motherboard of your device. When it is worn, broken or poorly connected, the volume buttons may stop responding or respond erratically. This part is a compatible flex cable: it is made by a third party and designed to fit the V20 model.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a suitable screwdriver and, if possible, an anti-static wrist strap to protect the components. Flex cables are fragile: do not press the connectors too hard and do not bend them beyond their natural shape.
Once the fitting is complete, check that the volume up and down buttons work in both directions, then test the adjustment in an audio app. Then reassemble the phone with care and make sure the screws are tightened properly. If the device overheats abnormally or the battery looks swollen, stop immediately and do not use it any further.
