Description
This MaAnt diagnostic tool is a compatible device designed for repairing smartphones, tablets and computers. It lets you record and replay the electrical current of a board or circuit, which helps you locate a power fault before replacing a part. It is intended for repair use and covers all the models listed.
Before using it, take the time to prepare your workspace: work on a stable, well-lit surface protected from static electricity, ideally wearing an anti-static wrist strap. Disconnect the device from any power source and, on a phone or tablet, disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Never puncture, bend or expose a lithium battery to excessive heat. If a battery is swollen, do not use it.
After diagnosis, check the repaired device works by running a full start-up and power test. For a replaced battery, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise its operation before normal use.
