Description
The LED backlight panel is the light layer behind your device's screen. It illuminates the display so the image stays readable, especially in bright daylight or low brightness. For the iPhone 6S Plus, this compatible part can replace the current one when the screen becomes dark, shows lighter areas or no longer lights up properly, even though the image is not necessarily missing.
This part is a compatible alternative, made by a third party. It lets you repair your iPhone 6S Plus at a lower cost, but its appearance and settings may differ slightly from the current part. Before fitting, switch off the device, remove the battery and work on a clean, stable surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit electrostatic discharge. Avoid bending the ribbon cable and do not force the connectors.
After reassembly, switch the device back on before fully closing the casing. Check that the brightness is even, that there are no bands or flickering, then test the screen at different brightness levels. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture it.
