Description
These 10-inch clamping pliers are a repair tool designed to hold two parts firmly in place during a gluing, screwing or disassembly operation. They suit a wide range of devices, with no specific model reference to quote. They are mainly used to immobilise a casing or a component while the glue sets, or to apply steady pressure on a fixed part.
Before use, prepare your workspace on a flat, clean surface, away from heat and static electricity. Switch off the device and remove the battery before any intervention. Never clamp the pliers onto a lithium battery: excessive pressure could puncture, bend or damage it. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
After each use, check that the jaws leave no marks on the surfaces and that the device remains properly assembled. Release the pressure gradually to avoid stress on ribbon cables and connectors.
