Description
The 4-inch clamping pliers are a repair tool designed to hold two parts firmly together while gluing, clamping or dismantling a device. They suit all models, especially for immobilising a screen, a frame or a housing during a repair.
This tool is a compatible part, made by a third party. It serves as a handy support when replacing a component, so you do not have to hold the parts by hand. Before using it, place the device on a flat, clean surface and protect fragile areas with a soft cloth or a rubber strip so that the housing is not marked.
Tighten gradually, without forcing, and check that nothing deforms. If you are working near a lithium battery, do not puncture it, bend it or compress it. A swollen battery must no longer be used. After the repair, check the alignment of the parts before reconnecting the device.
