Description
The 6-inch clamp is a repair tool designed to hold parts firmly in place while you work, for example a screen, a cover or a glued component. It lets you press a part while an adhesive sets, or steady a device during a delicate job.
This tool is compatible with all models, which makes it useful across different types of devices. It is a third-party product: on receipt, check that the jaws are properly aligned and that the tightening screw turns without excessive play.
Before use, protect the device surface with a soft cloth to avoid scratches, and never tighten too hard. Work in a well-lit area and disconnect the battery before handling anything near the ribbon cables. Moderate pressure is usually enough.
