Description
The glue gun is a tool that lets you apply hot glue precisely during a repair. It is used to fix seals, adhesives or small parts that come loose inside an electronic device. Thanks to the heat, the glue melts and spreads evenly, which makes for a clean and neat bond.
This tool suits all models of smartphones, tablets and computers. It lets you refit a holding adhesive or secure a connector that moves. It does not replace the part itself: it is only used for the gluing step once the current part has been removed and cleaned.
Before you start, set up your workspace in a well-ventilated, stable place. Let the gun heat up for a few minutes and never leave it unattended. Disconnect the device's battery before working near the ribbon cables. Once the glue has cooled, check that the part is firmly fixed before closing the device.
