Description
The NFC steel plate Galaxy Note 10 is a compatible spare part designed to be fitted beneath the device's contactless payment and NFC reading module. It reinforces the support of the NFC antenna and helps keep the chip in the right position when reading cards, badges or nearby phones. When it is damaged or poorly fixed, the NFC function can become unstable, work intermittently or stop being recognised altogether.
Before any work, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery where the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and a tray to store the small screws. Avoid forcing the connectors and protect your components from static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap if you have one.
After fitting, check that the part is correctly positioned and that nothing rubs against the ribbon cable or the battery. Switch the device back on and test the NFC function with several compatible items. If the behaviour remains abnormal, refit the part and check the connections before concluding.
