Description

The JC JCID-X-12PM programmer is a repair tool designed to read, write and erase baseband EEPROM chips, often used for the logic management of certain components in a device. It lets you work on a memory chip removed from the board or connected through a suitable setup, in order to correct data errors or replace a faulty chip.

This tool is offered as compatible with all models, without a specific reference given. It is a third-party manufacture, chosen to keep repair costs down. Before use, check that your programming software and chip type are supported, and work on a clean surface, free from static electricity, with an anti-static wrist strap if possible.

Before programming, back up the original content of the chip where possible, so you can go back if needed.
