Description
The audio IC Galaxy Note 10 Plus (Ref. CS35L40) is an electronic component that controls the sound of the device. It receives the audio signal and sends it to the speaker amplifier. When it is faulty, the sound is often weak, distorted, crackling or missing, even though the speaker itself works. This compatible part is offered to replace the current component on the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, provided the diagnosis confirms a fault with this chip.
Before starting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, with an anti-static wrist strap if you have one. Heat the component with a hot air station at a moderate temperature so as not to damage the neighbouring tracks. Check the alignment of the new chip before soldering it, then carefully inspect the joints under a magnifier.
After assembly, reconnect the battery and test the sound at several volume levels, including calls and videos. If the battery is new or old, let it go through a few full charge cycles to regain stable operation. If in doubt, stop and check the connections before going on.
