Description
The power management IC Galaxy Note 10 (reference PM8150L) is an integrated circuit that controls the distribution of electrical power inside the device. It takes current from the battery and distributes it to the various components, adapting voltages to what each element requires. When it fails, the device may no longer start, switch off for no apparent reason, charge incorrectly or show abnormal power consumption.
The part offered is a compatible version made by a third party, designed to replace the defective original component. Before you begin, familiarise yourself with the disassembly procedure, prepare a clean workspace and wear an anti-static wrist strap to prevent discharge on the components. Disconnect the battery before handling ribbon cables or connectors, and never apply excessive pressure.
Once assembly is complete, check operation before closing the device: test charging, start-up and power supply stability. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not try to puncture or bend it. Also keep the original part you removed, in case further diagnosis is needed.
