Description
This power supply chip, referenced CIS, is an electronic component designed for the Nintendo Switch 2 model. It is part of the circuit that distributes electrical power to the various parts of the device. When it is faulty, the device may no longer switch on, switch off at random, charge properly or show irregular electrical behaviour. This part is a compatible version made by a third party, and it is offered as an economical solution to repair your device.
Before any work, switch off the device, unplug the charger and, if possible, disconnect the battery. Work on a clean, dry surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge. Note the orientation of the chip carefully before removing it, and handle it only by its edges. A lithium battery must never be punctured or bent; if it is swollen, do not try to use it.
After fitting, check that the device starts normally and that charging works correctly. For a battery or a power circuit, carry out a few full charge cycles to verify the stability of the system. Monitor the temperature of the device and stop using it if it heats up abnormally.
