Description
The charging IC Galaxy S25+ (Ref. Nu2111A) is an electronic component that manages the power supply when you plug in your device. It regulates the voltage and current sent to the battery, protecting it while charging. When it is faulty, the device may stop charging, charge very slowly, or switch off even though the battery is not empty. This part is compatible with the Galaxy S25+ model; it is manufactured by a third party and is an economical option for a repair.
Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before working on flex cables or connectors. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static station if possible, and take the time to locate the position of the old chip precisely. Moderate heat is enough for desoldering; avoid excessive temperatures that could damage neighbouring circuits. A swollen, punctured or bent battery must never be used.
After fitting, carefully check the solder joints with a magnifier and make sure there is no short circuit before powering the device back on. Then run a few full charging cycles, monitoring the temperature of the device. If the behaviour remains abnormal, stop using it and reinstall the old chip to compare.
