Description
The charging IC iPhone 12 (ref. 343S00437) is an electronic component that manages the power supply to the battery when the device is connected to the mains. It regulates the current and voltage sent to the battery, which allows stable charging and protects the battery against overvoltage. When it is faulty, the device may stop charging, charge very slowly, or switch off while plugged in.
The part offered is a compatible charging IC, made by a third party. It is intended for private individuals who repair their own iPhone 12. Before starting, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work in a clean, dry place. Use an anti-static wrist strap to protect the sensitive components, and heat the area with a hot air rework station at a moderate temperature so as not to damage the neighbouring tracks.
After fitting, check the solder joints with a magnifier and make sure there is no short circuit before reconnecting the battery. Then plug in the charger and monitor the device during the first charges. If the battery overheats abnormally or swells, stop using it immediately.
