Description
The gyroscope chip Galaxy S24 (ref. V3) is an electronic component that measures the rotational movements of the device. It is used in particular for screen orientation, games and apps that react to tilt, as well as certain stabilisation functions. When it is faulty, screen rotation may stop working, motion detection may be erratic, or the sensor function may be missing from the settings.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party, and not an original part. Before replacement, switch off the device, remove the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch a metal ground to avoid electrostatic discharge, and handle the chip by its edges. Do not force the connectors and do not bend the ribbon cables.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test screen rotation, then run a sensor test or a calibration app. If the battery is affected, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise its operation. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
