Description
This IC chip, also called an integrated circuit, is an electronic component of the motherboard. It corresponds to a power frequency amplifier, responsible for managing the power supply and the high-frequency signals of the iPhone 11 device. When it is faulty, the device may show signs such as failure to start, unstable power supply or malfunctions related to power management. Before any intervention, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on an antistatic surface with an earthing wrist strap. Use a hot air soldering station set to a moderate temperature, so as not to damage the neighbouring tracks or other components. Check the orientation of the chip carefully before placing it and inspect under a magnifier for any solder bridges.
After fitting, reconnect the battery and monitor the heating of the board during the first minutes, letting it cool if necessary. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture or bend it. Proceed with patience and care for a reliable result.
