Description
This GPS ANT IC chip is an integrated circuit used for the location module and the reception of the GPS antenna signal of the iPhone 11 Pro Max device. When it is faulty, the phone may struggle to find its position, show an inaccurate location or no longer locate itself at all, which also affects navigation and mapping apps.
The part offered is of compatible quality, made by a third party. It is an economical option for replacing this component on a iPhone 11 Pro Max model. Before you start, switch the device off, remove the battery if possible and work on a clean surface with an anti-static wrist strap. Moderate heat is enough for desoldering, and a magnifier or microscope helps greatly in positioning the component correctly.
After fitting, check that the chip is correctly aligned and properly soldered, with no short circuit between the pins. Switch the device back on and test the location outdoors, in an open area, giving the system time to acquire a signal. If the device does not start or overheats abnormally, cut the power supply immediately.
