Description
This iPhone 13 Pro IC is a 2G amplifier integrated circuit from the Sky brand. It forms part of the phone's radio chain: it amplifies the GSM 2G signal for calls and data transmission. A fault with this chip can cause loss of network, dropped calls, very weak reception or the inability to make a call.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party. It is offered as an economical solution to replace the faulty component. Before you start, switch off the device, remove the battery if it is removable and work on a clean surface, away from static electricity. A soldering station at a moderate temperature and a fine tip limit the risk of damaging the neighbouring tracks.
After fitting, check the operation before closing the device: test network reception, a call and sending a message. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. Do not puncture it or bend it.
