Description
This IC chip iPhone 15 Pro Max, also known as Power Amplifier Filter VI, is an integrated circuit found on the motherboard of certain electronic devices. It helps process and filter the signals linked to power amplification. When it is faulty, the device may show malfunctions related to these functions, and the cause is not always easy to identify.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It allows a low-cost repair for a iPhone 15 Pro Max model. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on an anti-static surface with an earthing wrist strap. A hot air soldering station and suitable solder paste are generally required, used at moderate heat so as not to damage the neighbouring components.
After fitting, carefully check the solder joints with a magnifier and confirm there is no short circuit before powering the device back on. Then test the functions concerned by the chip. If you notice abnormal heating, switch the device off immediately. As a precaution, handle the battery with care: do not puncture it or bend it.
