Description
This IC chip, also called an integrated circuit, is an electronic component of the wireless charging chain of the iPhone SE (2022). It handles the reception of energy transmitted by induction from a charger placed against the back of the device, then converts it into usable current to recharge the battery. When it is faulty, the phone may no longer charge wirelessly although the wired connector still works, or it may charge irregularly and switch off for no apparent reason.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It is not Original and therefore does not necessarily match the original in every respect. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it and work on a clean bench, with an anti-static wrist strap to protect components sensitive to static electricity. Heat the solder joints with moderation so as not to damage the neighbouring tracks.
Once the assembly is complete, first check that the device starts properly and that wireless charging resumes. Then carry out a few full charge cycles to let the system stabilise. If the battery swells, overheats abnormally or you notice an unusual smell, stop using it immediately.
