Description
This NFC chip is a spare part for the Galaxy Note 10 Plus model. It handles the device's contactless communication, used notably for mobile payment, reading badges or pairing with compatible accessories. When it is faulty, you may notice that the NFC function no longer responds, that contactless payments fail or that the device no longer detects nearby items.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It is therefore not identical to the original part, but it is designed to fit the Galaxy Note 10 Plus device and perform the same function. Before any disassembly, switch the device off, discharge the battery as much as possible and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge. Handle the chip by its edges and never bend it.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check the NFC function with a test app or a contactless payment trial. If the device heats up abnormally, stop using it and disconnect the battery. Also make sure all ribbon cables are properly reconnected before closing the casing.
