Description
This NFC chip for Galaxy S21 (reference 110TV2F) is a small electronic component used for near-field communication. It allows the phone to read and exchange information with another device or a reader, for example for contactless payment or reading access badges. When it is faulty, the NFC function no longer responds and the phone may fail to detect badges or payment terminals. This part is a compatible, made by a third party, and can replace the current part on the Galaxy S21.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery where the design allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface with an anti-static tool, as electronic components can be damaged by a simple static discharge. Note the exact position of the chip and its connectors before removal, and handle the ribbon cables carefully to avoid bending or tearing them.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the phone back on and check in the settings that NFC is active. Test it with a badge or an NFC reader app. If the behaviour remains abnormal, recheck the connection before concluding. If the battery is swollen or damaged, do not use it and never try to puncture or bend it.
