Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable tools to avoid scratching or bending the ribbon cables. A swollen battery must never be used: do not puncture it or bend it. Keep heat moderate during the repair.
After reassembly, reconnect the battery, switch the device back on and test the NFC function with an app or a compatible device. If the battery was removed or the device discharges abnormally, carry out a few full charge cycles before judging the result. Check that the part is correctly positioned and that the connectors are firmly clipped in.
