Description
The NFC chip Galaxy S23+ (ref. 22UB026C) is an electronic component for near-field communication. It allows the device to read and exchange data with other compatible objects, for example for contactless payment, access cards or quick pairing of accessories. When the chip is faulty, these functions no longer respond, while the rest of the phone can still work normally.
The part offered is a compatible version, made by a third party. It is therefore intended to replace the current part of the Galaxy S23+ based on its designation, without claiming to be identical to the current part. Before any work, check that the reference matches the chip to be replaced by comparing the marking of the removed component.
Before starting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery when the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface with anti-static tools, and avoid excessive heat during desoldering. After fitting, test contactless payment and the reading of a card or NFC accessory before fully closing the device.
