Description
The iPhone 12 Pro NFC chip (reference 210VB114) is a small electronic component that allows your device to communicate contactlessly with other devices, for example for mobile payment, access badges or short-range data transfer. When it is faulty or missing, these functions no longer work, while the rest of the device may operate normally. This part is a compatible version, made by a third party, intended to replace the current component of the iPhone 12 Pro when it is out of service.
Before fitting, switch the device off completely, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity. Use suitable tools and avoid excessive heat when desoldering or removing neighbouring components. Handle the chip by its edges, without pressing on its contacts, and check its correct position before closing up.
After reassembly, switch the device back on and test the NFC function with a compatible app or terminal. If the battery was disconnected, let it charge normally and carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise the system. Never force a component and stop the work if in doubt.
