The NFC chip iPhone 15 (ref. 60V2) is a small electronic component that lets your device communicate contactlessly with other objects, for example for mobile payments, reading access badges or pairing accessories. It sits on the motherboard and connects to the phone's NFC antenna. When the function stops responding, the phone no longer detects badges or contactless payment fails, this chip may be the cause, especially after a drop or exposure to moisture.
This part is a compatible chip, made by a third party. It matches the iPhone 15 model and is the most economical option for repairing the NFC function. Before you start, switch the device off, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it, and work on a clean surface away from static electricity. Use an anti-static wrist strap if you have one, and handle components by their edges.
After fitting, check the NFC function with a tag-reading app before fully closing the device. Make sure the connectors are properly clipped in and that no ribbon cable is pinched. If the device overheats abnormally or a battery looks swollen, stop immediately and stop using it.
