Description
The iPhone 16 Pro NFC chip is a small electronic component that enables contactless communication, for example for mobile payments, access badges or short-range data transfer. This compatible part is intended for private customers who want to replace a faulty NFC chip on their iPhone 16 Pro device. When it fails, the phone may no longer detect access badges or payment terminals, and some contactless functions stop working.
Before fitting, take the time to prepare a clean, well-lit workspace, with an anti-static mat if possible. Switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables or connectors. Handle the chip by its edges, without pressing on its contacts, and avoid excessive heat when desoldering or soldering.
Once the part is installed, switch the device back on and test the NFC function with a badge or a dedicated app. If the battery was removed or replaced during the repair, carry out a few full charge cycles before heavy use. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and handle it with care.
