Description
The NFC chip iPhone 7 Plus (9-pin) is a replacement electronic component designed to restore the contactless communication of your device. It handles NFC functions such as mobile payment, badge reading or nearby data transfer. If these functions no longer respond, the phone no longer detects NFC objects, or the payment service refuses to activate, this part may be the cause.
This chip is a compatible part, made by a third party and not original. Before any disassembly, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean surface, limiting static electricity with an anti-static wrist strap. Respect the fixing points and note the position of the ribbon cables and connectors to make reassembly easier. Avoid excessive heat when desoldering and handle the circuit carefully.
After fitting, power the device back on and test the NFC function with a badge or a dedicated app. Also check that the phone remains stable and does not overheat abnormally. If the battery was handled, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise its operation. Never use a swollen, punctured or bent battery.
