Description
The touch IC is the component that passes the information from your finger to the motherboard when you touch the screen of your iPhone 11 Pro Max. It links the touch panel to the rest of the device. When it fails, the screen may stop responding in places, react erratically, or stop responding altogether, even though the display remains visible. Replacing this part often restores normal touch response.
Before you start, switch off your iPhone 11 Pro Max completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, ideally with an anti-static mat, to avoid electrostatic discharge. Never force the ribbon cables. Moderate heat is enough to soften the adhesive during removal.
Once reassembly is complete, check the screen by testing its entire surface, in the corners as well as the centre. If in doubt, stop rather than risk causing further damage.

- Apply moderate heat if needed to lift the adhesive, never strong heat
