Description
This touch IC, referenced 2Fxx, is an electronic component designed for the iPhone 16e model. It carries the signals generated when you touch the touchscreen, converting these gestures into commands the system can interpret. A faulty IC often shows up as a screen that no longer responds in certain areas, phantom zones that react without contact, or keys that only work after firm pressure.
This part is a compatible version, made by a third party. It does not claim equivalence with the current part. Before you start, switch off the device, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, dry surface. Use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to avoid electrostatic discharge. Never force the connectors and handle the ribbon cables with care.
After fitting, reconnect the battery and check the screen across several areas: tap, swipe and test the corners. If a lithium battery is swollen, do not reconnect it and do not puncture or bend it. For battery precautions, follow the instructions of your device's manufacturer.
