Description
This Wi-Fi / Bluetooth chip, reference 339S00647 in second generation, manages the wireless connections of the iPhone 11 device: Wi-Fi network, and Bluetooth for headphones, keyboard or other accessories. When it fails, you often notice a loss of Wi-Fi connection, a Bluetooth that no longer appears in the list of devices, or a connection that drops for no apparent reason.
This is a compatible part, made by a third party: it can replace the current part without being an original manufacturer part. Before you start, switch the device off completely, disconnect the battery where possible and work on a clean surface, with an anti-static wrist strap if you have one. Handle the chip by its edges, without touching the pins, and use moderate heat to desolder the current part.
After fitting, switch the device back on and check the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection with several networks and devices. If the battery was disconnected, let it charge normally then carry out a few full charge and discharge cycles to stabilise operation.
