Description
This Wi-Fi / Bluetooth chip is an electronic component for the iPhone 13 Pro model. It provides the device's wireless connection: Wi-Fi to access the internet and Bluetooth for headphones, speakers or accessories. When it fails, you often notice a loss of Wi-Fi connection, Bluetooth that no longer pairs, or intermittent network detection. It is worth checking these symptoms before ordering the part, for example by testing wireless in safe mode or after resetting the network settings.
Before fitting, work in a clean, dry place, on an anti-static surface if possible. Discharge static electricity by touching a metal earth and disconnect the battery before working on flex cables or connectors, to avoid any short circuit. Handle the chip by its edges, without pressing on the components, and avoid excessive heat when desoldering or removing it.
After reassembly, check the operation of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on several networks and with a paired accessory. Also check that the device does not overheat abnormally. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and never puncture or bend it.
