Description
This Wi-Fi / Bluetooth chip is an electronic component designed for the iPhone XR device. It provides your device's wireless connection: access to Wi-Fi networks, and pairing with headphones, speakers or other Bluetooth accessories. When it fails, you often notice lost Wi-Fi, Bluetooth that no longer gets detected, or a connection that drops for no reason.
This is a compatible part, manufactured by a third party, and not a part conforming to the manufacturer's reference. Before you start, switch the device off, disconnect the battery and work on a clean, dry surface. Wear an anti-static wrist strap to protect the components, and handle the chip by its edges. Note the position and orientation of the current part before removing it, and check that the neighbouring ribbon cables are not damaged.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test Wi-Fi and Bluetooth before closing the casing. If the device overheats abnormally or the battery looks swollen, stop immediately and stop using it. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
